“Perfect for our event”
We used Memorable for a colleague's farewell. Everyone chipped in within a few clicks, even the reluctant ones. And at the end, I could easily print out all the messages people left to give to him.
“By far the best online”
I used it for my sister's wedding pot. Simple, lovely, and zero mandatory commission. Guests loved leaving a message and a photo.
“Absolutely brilliant”
We printed the QR code and put it up at the venue, so guests could join in right there on the day. The service is genuinely great — I happily left a contribution to support the project.
Frequently asked questions
What is Memorable and how does it work?
Memorable is an online money pot, created in 2026 by the founder of ungrandjour.com, the platform specialised in wedding pots. Drawing on that experience, he built Memorable: a simple online money pot open to every festive and charitable event. Memorable makes it easy to share participants' messages and photos, thanks to the printable album (or card) and the shareable web Story — all kept readable and easy to use, even for those less comfortable with technology.
How much does it cost?
Creating a pot and collecting contributions is entirely free. There is no mandatory commission: when you withdraw, you freely choose whether to leave us a contribution, or not. Contributors can also choose to add a voluntary contribution to support Memorable. Nothing is pre-added to their basket and the choice is always explicit. It's your generosity that lets us cover transactions, security and the development of the platform.
Do participants need an account?
No. Anyone can take part via the link or QR code, without creating an account, with a bank card from anywhere in the world.
How do I get the money?
At any time, request a withdrawal to your bank account: you can make several withdrawals and don't need to wait for the pot to close to do so. The withdrawal is made by standard bank transfer and takes 48 to 72h to arrive. For security reasons, contributions are held for 72h before they can be withdrawn. Funds are transferred with no fees, and supporting Memorable stays optional.
Are contributions and withdrawals capped?
No, no cap applies to your pot. You can collect as much money as you want, with no limit on the number of contributions or on their amount.
Withdrawals are unlimited too: you can withdraw all or part of the available balance, as often as you want.
Only two minimum amounts apply:
Withdrawals are unlimited too: you can withdraw all or part of the available balance, as often as you want.
Only two minimum amounts apply:
- €0.50 per contribution;
- €1 per withdrawal.
Is the pot secure?
Security is a priority. An identity verification, carried out by Stripe, is required to withdraw the money from the pot. Payments are secured by 3D Secure and all data is encrypted. The funds belong 100% to the organiser: they are held in a dedicated deposit account, we never use them and earn no revenue from them. Finally, verification codes are sent to the organiser for important actions, to keep their account safe.
How does the QR code work?
The QR code we provide is a visual representation of your money pot URL. It allows your friends to scan the code with their phone to access the pot directly, without having to type the URL manually. This QR code is free, usable for life and has no limit on the number of scans. When you modify the pot information, the QR code does not change, as it always points to the same unique pot URL which cannot be modified.
Can you modify the pot URL?
No, it is not possible to modify the pot URL. The URL is generated automatically from the pot title and cannot be changed afterwards. If you want another URL, you will need to create a new pot with the desired title. The URL cannot be modified because it is used to uniquely identify the pot and ensure that participants access the correct page.
